Each time we walk by it, it looks dead. Ready to go, seemingly (furniture etc.) but nothing happening. Website says "coming soon" (and thank the gods above they have an actual website and not an Instagram page with pretty pictures and zero useful information) (yes, I'm old and like useful websites, sue me). It's also taking bookings for mother's day brunch, so hopefully really soon?

A trend in SoCal that seems to be competitive between drink outlets is between Mocktail efforts -- no alcohol except for occasional splashes of Liqueurs for flavor
 
Is this going to be the end of the Transit Hotel's story?
Let's hope not. That location sees lots of traffic, albeit cars and not people walking, but the hotel has a parking lot, so that isn't really an excuse. BBQ places have a tough go, especially lately with the rising cost of beef and pork (meat, in general).
