Love this spot.

This is such a great deal.

Is anyone else privy to some other sweet weekday specials at downtown or whyte ave restaurants? I’m hoping to have a place to go for every day of the week.

My contribution is Arbour on Wednesdays has half off pizza.
Canadian Brewhouse's wing wednesday is an underrated deal. Not quite a "special", but I would also flag that you can follow Tremendous Trivia to see where you can go for trivia every night.

Seoul Fried Chicken on 104 weekdays 1-4 PM happy hour menu is unbeatable value

$10.50 gets me two massive pieces of bone in fried chicken, a box of fries, and a banana corn fritter. I am a fairly large man with a substantial appetite and nothing fills me up more for the money.

I stopped by the old Oliver Exchange while biking home from the Downtown Farmers' Market, and noticed a subtle change. Haven't tried this place yet, but they appear to have a rooftop patio. Also, there is a cheese shop going through fit out on the back corner of the Annex, just to the left of the field of view of my second picture.

How is the downtown version of Continental Treat faring? Is it matching or exceeding the late lamented Hardware Grill?

Inside the restaurant industry it is difficult to operate one successful eatery; it is even more difficult to operate two or three; it gets easier again when tending to four or more.

Probably even harder when you have been used to having just one location for many years.

An interesting sort of vote of confidence in downtown and the area in that they must have felt this was the one with better future potential.

Also I suppose Whyte Ave's restaurant scene is very competitive, whereas not much else nice nearby downtown and the location is close to very the convention centre.
