K-Days and TOE starting tomorrow. Looks like we'll have two nice days of weather before it turns to shit, so plan accordingly. Hopefully, we'll get an actual summer with extended periods of heat at some point. :/

Yes, K-Days starting so must be time for a break from the nicer weather in earlier July. Maybe we should move it to early July, oh right there's a big event out of town on then.

The Heritage Festival is 2 weeks away. Why are they still so unprepared?

No rain today therefore I made it back to the Taste of Edmonton this afternoon.

My lunch included the following items:
  • lemongrass beef skewer (Hoang Long)
  • lobster roll (Blowers & Grafton)
  • steak bites (Canadian Brewhouse)
  • smoked brisket slider (Transit)
  • shredded pork sammich (Beya's)
  • chocolate cake (Cheesecake Cafe)
  • lemonade (Lemon Heaven)

It is always a bit disappointment to have such a cool rainy day on the weekend in our summers that are not that long and it does really impact outdoor events planned then.

However, fortunately we tend not to get that weather for too long. Sunday while still not so sunny has been warmer and better so far.
