Festival season is in full swing in Edmonton, and the city’s longest-running event of its kind is celebrating its 30th birthday. The Whyte Avenue Art Walk started Friday and remains the capital city’s first, largest and longest-running outdoor gallery and studio.

K-Days and TOE starting tomorrow. Looks like we'll have two nice days of weather before it turns to shit, so plan accordingly. Hopefully, we'll get an actual summer with extended periods of heat at some point. :/

Yes, K-Days starting so must be time for a break from the nicer weather in earlier July. Maybe we should move it to early July, oh right there's a big event out of town on then.

It is always a bit disappointment to have such a cool rainy day on the weekend in our summers that are not that long and it does really impact outdoor events planned then.
However, fortunately we tend not to get that weather for too long. Sunday while still not so sunny has been warmer and better so far.
