While I do think retail will really struggle there, I do hope that a restaurant or cafe opens to make great use of the space.
So it is open to the general public. Thought it would be security swipe passed or something along those lines for residents only. When I took my pics there was a security guard walking around out there.
Good call on that. Looks great. The north side of the parking garage for the CN tower is crying out for a layered mural (can you hear it)... or maybe projection art courtesy of Qualico.

Yes, although there are parts of downtown Vancouver that I feel are far worse than here. Somehow they seem to be able to keep it contained in one area, whereas here it seems to spill over throughout downtown constantly.Yeah it looks great, gives me Vancouver vibes for some reason. Just need to keep the social decay away.
Exactly my thought too. Would be very coolThe north side of the parking garage for the CN tower is crying out for a layered mural (can you hear it)... or maybe projection art courtesy of Qualico.

Is it because of all the rain? XDGives me Vancouver vibes for some reason
Don't remind me of our non-existent summer this year.Is it because of all the rain? XD

Singapore’s requirements for updating for life safety and handicap access are similar to ours in that they are only triggered by other upgrading or renovations although for some larger “energy intensive” structures energy upgrading may be mandated. The entire building needs one.
A part of me wishes we were like Singapore where all the older buildings that are not historical must be updated.
Do remind me of our smoke free summerDon't remind me of our non-existent summer this year.
Lived in SG in Alexandria for a few years while working on a project. Typically from what I saw there is so much influx of renovation or new builds particularly around Orchid that buildings are forced to refresh to stay competitive. Doesn't really apply to the government apartments.Singapore’s requirements for updating for life safety and handicap access are similar to ours in that they are only triggered by other upgrading or renovations although for some larger “energy intensive” structures energy upgrading may be mandated.
Facades for buildings older than 20 years and taller than 13 metres must be inspected every 7 years for structural integrity but there is no requirement for aesthetic upgrading.
