This would be an excellent spot for a train station with direct access to the downtown pedway system/LRT network.
Once Stationlands is fully built out, perhaps the vibrancy it brings to the area will convince the city to develop the underground station between Stadium and Churchill. Some activity in the Quarters would likely help that along as well...

They were definitely drained when I went by yesterday. Google Maps shows they haven't been on in any of the 2025 or 2024 photos, last seen on in 2023.
Yeah they did, I have a buddy that works in that building and homeless were using it as a washroom, the people working in the building complained and they shut it down.

Have we decided what this is for

Accessibility for the raised walkway (elevator)? I have no idea, but just a guess.

Edit: never mind… doesn’t make sense. Just noticed the enclosed portion doesn’t include the upper level?

Did Qualico drain the water from those fountains permanently? Can't recall that I've seen them at all this year...

Stopped on a ride home from the office last week to check out the elevated walkway. It's a nice addition to the property, and a good place for photos of the city. I even managed to grab a peek-a-boo shot of the Hotel Macdonald.

Are those posts with the round discs intended for leaning, sitting, or for holding drinks? I was dismayed to see that some bolts were overtightened which split the wood in places along the walkway, but overall, it's really taking shape and looking nice.
