Judging by the location too, it's probably luxury retail which is a small win for downtown. Every single new retail opening helps.

We need both luxury and general retail popping back up tbh.

Sadly, the entertainment district concept seems to have languished. So I feel some upscale or nice general retail is probably the next best alternative here.

Don't give up on the entertainment district just yet. With summer fast approaching, the two tables and stools that OEG put out in the plaza are just around the corner!

Sounds like it is one of two options for a new steakhouse.

Personally, i'd rather that go into National Bank on the corner of 102/102 and this spot to be a King Taps, Earls or something more casual and approachable.

In the Manulife Place thread you said there was going to be a “full service brand restaurant on the NWC”. Since it’s a steakhouse does that mean we’ll be seeing The Keg in one of these two spaces since they had previously been looking at Stantec..

King Taps in the Rexall space (or Keg) would be awesome. Have frequented King Taps in Kelowna, would be a great addition and can't imagine it not being a hit there.
