If I were the Oilers GM:
Keep Brown and maybe Frederic (if he's not asking for the moon).
Let Jeff Skinner, Klingberg, Kapanen and Ryan walk.
I'm on the fence with Perry - he's a good player to have around but I still think he has the Stanley Cup curse.
Re-sign Bouchard, McDavid, Kane, Ekholm, Walman, Kulak and Stu.
Trade Henrique, Arvidsson, Stecher and Pickard for a starting goalie, a RD defenseman and prospects/draft picks.

If you’re going to resign Stu why would you trade for a starting goalie?
 
Bouche infuriates me to me no end - some days I think his "Bouche Bomb" is worth $10M+, other days I think he is not worth the bagged lunch he brings to the rink....

Of the 16 teams that made the playoffs this year, the Oilers ranked 11th in goals against and 13th in save percentage.

Over the course of the season, they ranked 14th in goals against and 10th in goal differential.

While it's true that goal-tending stats should be considered team stats as much as individual stats, the hall-mark of great goal-tending is the consistent ability to outplay your own team's shortfalls.

Lastly, I can't find any stats for it so maybe it's just me but the number of goals against in the first (and last) minutes of periods/games seems to be inordinately higher for this team than one might expect. How oftern to we glance at the clock at the 2 minute mark and breath a sigh of relief that the opposition hasn't scored? The lift those goals give the other team and the deflation of "here we go again" on the Oilers also has to be disheartening along with the negative affect on how the team then has to play catchup from that point forward.
