Oh, apparently it's probably just the funding portion for the train depot and LRVs (MLNW was supposed to have a small facility which was removed when CLSE was approved). Disappointing but makes sense.
So is there anything around North station to warrant it opening?
Clareview had a lot of bus routes that could connect there. Blatchford Gate, not so much. I don't believe it was even designed for bus connections.Hey I'm all for opening it. I am of the era remembering clareview station in the middle of nowhere but being open.
Council has had this weird fetish for “urban LRT”. It’s stupid and when the current LRT projects wrap up and the Metro Line project is about to move into the next phases, we need to clobber council over the head for even entertaining such a silly concept for the Metro Line extension.Any reason for no crossing gates in the second phase of MLNW? I was looking over the booklet and I only saw them in the third phase.
It started a couple of weeks ago. Doesn’t make any difference during peak hours it is still 5 minutes as beforeDid anyone notice the Metro line is now running to Century Park during weekdays? I think it just started a few weeks ago, I thought maybe it was a pilot but it is shown here on the ETS website, I guess it's official now? I didn't see any announcement or anything.
Very convenient if you need to do a north-south trip. And as a bonus, it doubles CP to DT service frequency from 10min to 5min!
