I didn’t see a plane as I was on the domestic side….I went all the way to gate 72….as far as one can go on the domestic side…..but couldn’t see past the gate 76 stand WS to Phoenix….couldn’t see the plane. I also waited for the ticker to change airlines for their code share partners….akin how Korean and Delta rotate through WS’s…..Did you actually see a plane at the gate? I do not see it listed as an arrival or departure for YEG on the airport website nor on FlightStats or on Flightradar24. Given Sun Country have just announced 15 new routes (https://www.kare11.com/article/news...outes/89-a3dfb11b-4b29-4d12-a79b-80764c3846d8) at Minneapolis (MSP) its only HUB it may be that Sun Country may be looking to draw in some connecting flights to its HUB at MSP and YEG may be a contender for a future route.. Yup I see that now - so collecting people at YYC on the flight back to Laughlin. Harrahs sponsored. On the return nonstop to Edmonton on outbound a stop at YYC. Both collection points use US Pre-Clearance. Click on more details for Jan 15 to 19th. Noticed that United will have a 2nd Daily to Denver starting March 26th. Was looking up Hawaii next Summer via Seattle and Horizon still only has the 1 Daily well into the summer season......thought they were going to at least double that up?

Pretty exciting YEG will be connected 2x/week with Quebec City (YQB) starting July 7th 2023. I think this is a pretty good route to take advantage of trying during the summer hopefully get traffic going both directions. YQB is so underserved maybe this could be a good little connection between some pretty good sized markets. The province of Quebec has historically been a tough one to crack for western Canadian airlines though for sure.

Just a clarification for YEGs purposes it is just a 2x weekly to YQB. The 3X Weekly mentioned is YQB to Halifax (YHZ).

It'll be interesting to see how that route does. I lived in Quebec City for years, and it was hard to get there from Edmonton (for a domestic route) -- and yet, the city has never really had good air service for the size of the place.
