^ no kidding. Last time I got stuck on a Q-400 flying to the Island we hit some turbulence over the Rockies. I'm not a nervous flyer but I think it took at least 48 hours for my ass to fully unclench after.
Tell me about it... It's very frustrating.Really annoying that almost all of the YEG-YLW (Kelowna) flights out of Edmonton at Q-400 versus almost every flight out of YYC a 737.
Agreed. This flight is so short that the size of the plane is a non-issue (who complains about the tiny sea-planes that Harbour Air flies between Vancouver and Victoria for example...)Interesting does look like it is mostly Q-400 currently. In the summer it has definitely been a mix. Prefer mainline but the flight is still short enough it's not too bad and keeps the frequency up.
Maybe don’t fly three or four flights a day Flair manages with just one on a MAX.It’s a Wednesday at the end of October. You can’t fault WS for not wanting to fly a half empty 737 to YLW.
I'll take the 3-4 flights on a smaller plane. I never choose to fly Flair between YEG and YLW because their sole flight does not serve me AT ALL on weekdays. It's too short a flight to really matter (just over 1hr 15m gate to gate)Maybe don’t fly three or four flights a day Flair manages with just one on a MAX.

I have also stopped booking with them for this reason.I refuse to fly Flair now due to their baggage checks/policy.
