drove around the park today and the roads and parking lots are absolute crap (apart from the brand new parking lot pictured above); had to keep my speed down to a walk. Hope the city fixes that soon.
That is an appropriate speed for vehicles here. That should be the norm where people are.had to keep my speed down to a walk
That's a cheap form of traffic calming loldrove around the park today and the roads and parking lots are absolute crap (apart from the brand new parking lot pictured above); had to keep my speed down to a walk. Hope the city fixes that soon.
They're immediately outside the main entrance to the facility, seems quite secure to me. Covered spaces? Sure, that would be ideal, but as someone that cycles daily, not a deal-breaker for me. If it's raining or snowing, I'll be out in that regardless of whether my bike is covered or not when it's parked. What I don't get though is that for a facility such as this, why not make these exceptional? A more secure, covered space with some design?
Agreed. Would love to see city facilities all start to include basic bike storage that’s inside/secured to some degree. Literally just an interior room with a door and cameras would significantly reduce theft vs racks outside. What I don't get though is that for a facility such as this, why not make these exceptional? A more secure, covered space with some design?
