Yeah, it's good to remember that when we all get too cranky. Just like the reminder about the old Greyhound station and how delightful that area used to be.It is quite interesting to see how this area has john from large parking lots to a park and now a bunch of residential buildings. Amazing how that park has encouraged a bunch of building really quick.
Yeah I'd love more towers, but filling up empty lots with practically anything better should be the priority.I rode by this last week and was surprised anything was being developed. I was hoping for towers too, but I'd rather this than 20 more years of surface parking lot across the street from a beautiful park. Same with what looks like a substantial downsizing of The Shift. It'll build momentum towards the bigger picture -- Parks 2, the eventual redevelopment of Boston Pizza, etc.
It's too bad that we'll likely end up with towers along the south/west edges and low-rises on the north/east edges.
