Dude, last night, I was at this place called Molly’s Tea on 109th Street, where they sell matcha. It was PACKED!
I was probably in one of those crowds over the last week haha. That and Daves Hot Chicken has made that spot pretty packed foot traffic wise. Imagine something like that in the Ice District or 104 St!

I wonder what the difference in lease rates is.

Great that Dave's Chicken was able to brand their space with the art work on that building. I think with all the building going on along 108st and soon 106st, the 102 Ave location at 109st for these two two businesses was a smart choice.

Or an In/Out Burger…..I know they’re not expanding out of Cali but watching that operation on the LINQ on the weekend was something to see…….mind blowing how their process 100’s of orders in mere minutes…..for a barely average burger btw…..

I drive by there almost daily, and it's been that way consistently since it opened. Any of these buildings DT with available CRUs should be begging for a place like that or Dave's.

It's all about the new, fresh and highly grammable.

Took a bunch of 'non-Downtowners' out to Sherlocks patio post Elks on Saturday; the weather could not have been nicer.

All of them were pleasantly surprised by how nice it felt there, loved the 'city views' and said it has been awhile for most in terms of choosing Downtown for a night out.

Here's hoping we can continue to bring more suburbanites back.

Last night I was at the downtown Sherlock Holmes for an early dinner but it was almost dead. I'm hoping there's much less days like that.
FWIW I was at Savoys South Indian Kitchen for lunch yesterday and it was also almost dead when it's usually packed.
I have no idea why.

We did say that we needed unique retail/experiences to bring people downtown, and I think this is a really good example of it.
Yes, it is and we need more of it. A lot of the conventional Canadian and US retail here is suburban mall focused, but that does not appeal to everyone and it not even well located for people in more central areas.
