103ave badly needs some projects for 104street to truly extend to 104ave in a “connected” sort of feeling. That intersection kills things.

Probably a combination of playoff season, the nice weather and just all the downtown revitalization stuff with students and new residents and return to work orders but this is probably the busiest spring I've ever seen for downtown since COVID, both in foot traffic and transit too.

It's definitely busier than I've seen it in a long time, which is good to see. And with the farmers' market opening on the long weekend, hopefully it'll get more people to the core.

Some of the new planters along Jasper Ave between 109-114st) need some love and attention.
This city planter in front of Cactus Club isnt doing well and has a lot of cigarette butts in it, too. We should be able to do better.
The city issued a warning to Regency for garbage on their 113-114st site after it was reported on 311.

The Downtown Action Plan has been released and will be discussed at Urban Planning Committee May 13. It is an update of the Capital City Downtown Plan and is intended guide Downtown investment and development for the next 5 years.
