I can’t imagine what their losses may be there, I assume they are keeping up the barriers on the sides closed at all times, otherwise that would just be a nightmare. Great spot, should compete well though, want them to succeed.
Yes, keeping the access on the far side closed so everyone has to go by the front counter area is an easy and good solution. I think I also saw what were probably building security people nearby.

Anyone on here taken advantage of Downtown Dining Week? Only goes until Sunday.

I've done a few and headed to another tonight. Maybe it's just me, but the buzz around it this year seems off/low?

Here's hoping it's doing well.

So far I've been to the Harvest Room and Rosewood for Downtown Dining Week. The Harvest Room only had 4 tables full of patrons, however there was an Oilers game during the time I was there. Rosewood was full during lunch hour, so it's a good thing I was there early to grab a table. I'm planning to hit up Pazzo Pazzo, Cavern and maybe 1 or 2 more restaurants before Sunday night.

I fully recommend adding Ramen Misoya to your list if you can.

This is the kind of stuff that frustrates me... going on 2+ months now, reported and no action. The metal sign stand was actually leaned up against this wayfinding sign by the roadway contractor causing the damage and still everything remains left, without care or attention and sends the message that we don't care.

This is part of the problem related to all the empty retail space in the area. Who is going to care here and bring this problem to anyone's attention?

When the department store was open, probably someone there would have contacted the city, maybe more than once to ensure this was dealt with.

The empty spaces just become black holes and we have to put more effort into filling them. Until then things like this will continue.
