Technically two blocks, but it gets you to the N/S lanes on Bartlett, which is the only safe place to cross the tracks in the neighbourhood.

I see @TwoWheelPoli was sharing over in the East Don thread that ...the Meadoway Trail segment from Bermondsey to Eglinton is basically set to go ahead.

I confirmed there and will do so here in this cross-post, that this is indeed the case. Possible construction will start by year end, but mostly likely spring '26.

The hold up here has been Mx agreeing on where the trail (and lights) would meet the Crosstown tracks.

That has now been settled, I'm told.

I updated the bike lane tracker to include Silverthorn and Blackthorn which were done in April from Rogers to Rockwell. Any word on whether the Rockwell to St. Clair stretch of Silverthorn was completed as well?

Feel free to call out anything else I am missing. ;)

I'm working on it already, LOL.........I'm checking on projects I haven't been following.

Has there been any update to the plans for bike lanes on Gerrard between River and Parliament?

Design is somewhere between 30-60%. So it won't go this year. Hopefully, fingers crossed, this will go next year.

Maybe the city can fenagle something with the southside of Gerrard during the Regent Park development with dual track so that the four driving lanes are unaffected. Gerrard is really dangerous otherwise, as inpatient car/truck drivers trying to pass the streetcar must come within inches of cyclists.

This section is on the to-do list, not sure of the current status, but I don't think it has started design yet.

Ok................a couple are missing.

Port Union is close to finishing I believe.

Sentinel in North York is well underway.

Those two should both wrap by October I would think.

But I haven't been out to see either one, lately

I don't think it has started yet, but Bedford From Bloor to Prince Arthur has been awarded and is expected to complete this year.

From Kanchan's BSky account, the cycling barriers on Lansdowne getting prettified.

There are plans for extending the existing tracks on COMMISSIONERS from Carlaw to Leslie and this would seem a fairly easy thing to do as the length is short and the street is wide (and has a wide boulevard on the south side). I understand the City will install a new main sewer on these blocks (and further west) in the next couple of years so I guess we might only get a 'temporary track' or 'markings' now but ......

I note that TOIn view says 2024-2025 - if they are to do this they need to get on with it!!..

Project On-Street Bikeway Paving Markings

Location COMMISSIONERS ST From: CARLAW AVE To: LESLIE ST

Details Installation of various cycling infrastructure, including quick build cycle tracks, bike lanes, contra-flow lanes, or addition of separation.

Construction Timeline 2024 - 2025

It is difficult to find a positive spin on the local bike lane project I received mail about today. The Logan/Carlaw bike lane construction will commence September 2nd and run until Sept 5th. The length of the project is a true testament to sad end result of this project. As the timeline might indicate, it is mostly paint and sharrows, no protection for cyclists, young or old. I am very sad that this project has been watered down. Both streets see large amounts of vehicles speeding, and from a personal perspective I've been yelled and honked at many times with multiple kids in tow. Protected bike lanes would have been very welcome, enhanced safety, and encouraged local bike trips, thereby removing vehicular traffic for those same trips. Whereas the new speed limit signs and painted arrows won't change behaviour. In summary, I hope term limits are eventually explored for municipal politics in Toronto.

Protected bike lanes are not needed on local roads with 30 km/h speed limits and reduced motor vehicle volumes. If you don't believe me, Google "Copenhagenize Design Manual". Having said that, it's disappointing that only a short block of Logan will get a contraflow bike lane and the rest of the route is lame sharrows.

Two Words: Councillor Fletcher.

The most anti-cycling member of Council and I'm including Holyday. Also anti-transit, anti-pedestrian and all around albatross for all things progressive.

While driving along Pharmacy it looked like construction on the section of the Finch Corridor trail east of Pharmacy was complete. Asphalt was poured and fencing removed.

I will submit this trail section for @robmausser 's review; and @TwinHuey 's overview.

I was at the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair earlier this summer and a number of the artists there also do art with StreetARToronto, which organizes painting of various pieces of infrastructure, including the bike lane barriers. It wasn’t until I checked out their social media that I was aware of the program or that actual artists hand paint each barrier’s mural. For those whose interests overlap, they reshare lots of artist photos and videos on their Instagram, usually in their stories: https://www.instagram.com/start_streetartoronto/
