Excellent choice! I've been there quite a few times over the years as I lived in the area (and still spend a lot of time there), but I just haven't had a chance to profile it here yet. Can't decide on which pants to wear...
Oh that's a hard one! For some reason shiny lurex bell bottoms popped into my head, so even if that doesn't work for you, I might have just identified my next thrift quest. 🤔😂

I used to frequently wear bell bottoms in the 90's when I'd go out to clubs, but these days I'm all about a tight fit at the ankles (and wilder designs, if you can believe that).

Nutbar at Queen and Logan. Mildly cozy.

Belem Cafe at College and Euclid. Very stylish! More of a classic European cafe that we don’t seem to have many of (this one has a Portuguese flavour). Bonus points for the charming street scene.

Did you have a pastel de nata? I've seen nice pics and read good reviews of the decor, but some of the more critical Portuguese folks have reported that the custard tarts weren't that great, and don't do justice to be associated to the Belem name.

I don't even know what a pastel de nata is 😄 I'm not much of a pastry guy - I lean towards cookies, although even there I'm very picky.

I'm just a very picky person in general about many things.

Portuguese custard tarts.

Full Of Beans cafe on Dundas west of Dovercourt. Now this is cozy!! Dark interior, comfy seating, vintage furniture, bricks walls, loads of book shelves, deep space - all it needs is a fireplace to get the much coveted Towered stamp of approval.

Rooms Coffee. A growing local chain, these guys have nailed how to make a cafe truly cozy. They even straddle the line into full on lounge territory. This particular location is on Baldwin Street. So cozy, like a 70’s basement!

Janschenko Bakery in BWW. Doesn’t really qualify as a cozy cafe, but it’s nice nonetheless. Also, support Ukrainian businesses!!
