Kind of weird they show MacLeod trail north as 2-way in the renders (and a bike lane?)

I’d love to over analyze and read into that as a hint, but I think that it’s just fluff.
I wouldn’t read too much into these renders outside of the actual project.

For example, it seems the existing Stampede Station building to the north (right) is getting blown away and replaced in this one:

Kind of funny because the older renders show it there:

That's 15th avenue, also funny that we've spouted a bunch of older looking office tower types south of 15th avenue in the distance. lol

Whoops, my bad.

I was wondering how what looks like Stephen avenue place ended up south of it 😂

15th has LRT tracks lol? I think it is technically 17th given the "W" placement...either way, bizarre

i like the rendering with the saddledome in the picture. not sure thats ever gonna be a thing but cool if it was.
I wonder when the dome bites the dust. I assume it could be gone by the end of 2027, by Stampede 2028 it will be a parking lot, or maybe Populous would've done their worst for what comes next for Stampede Park.

I can see it taking quite a long time to demolish the Dome. I mean, it seemed to take forever to demo the Transalta Building, which seems like it would be a lot less complex to take down...Scotia Place opens late '27, so Stampede Station could be well underway by the time the demolition is finished.

Isn't that because they want to keep the parking for the redevelopment? If it's just planned to be surface parking, shouldn't take that long
