Does the industrial laundry include an underground Meth lab? Like in the show, laundry gets outsourced nowadays.

If this rendering is going to be built than I expect a second phase with a slightly taller tower for the price and the number of units.

Nice tower. The podium could use more windows.
Yeah - I feel it's a typo or conflation of Truman's overall investment deal in the area in the press release.

For example, the Dorian was probably the last hotel of this scale built new in the core and was $110M, 27 floors, 308 rooms (2022).

It's almost like communications is the most important thing and details matter. Granted we're the hyper-engaged in this area, I told my wife and she couldn't understand why it mattered because to her and the average person it doesn't.

I think the dollar amount is the value tied to the land transfer from the Stampede to Truman. I do also think the room number count is in this one hotel. It is hard to wrap your head around the scale from those photos but look at it in comparison to the BMO. This thing is huge!

That pool deck should offer an epic view of the fireworks during Stampede. If it is heated to the point where people can be comfortable swimming at night while the fireworks are going off, I can see it being an Instagram-able photo moment that goes viral enough to fill the hotel based on that alone.

Can you see the Coke stage from the pool?
The coke stage is a fluid thing, the recent location in the SW corner has not been the best. Good view of downtown looking at the stage but my knees don't enjoy the pavement. There's definitely an opportunity post Saddledome to rethink the grounds. I think Stampede would also like a new Ag Building. I always wondered what they were thinking with the orientation of the Nutrien Western Event Centre? It doesn't align with anything... The Ag building, the track, GMC Stadium, the road, nothing. It aligns with nothing.

Will this hotel impact the gondola? I think it will, hopefully they can just shift the station south a bit out of the way, and just shorten the ride. Or.... has that ride lost its charm and it is time to move onto something else? It has been a long time since I rode it.

It definitely will, I wonder what they do... I never ride it but do find it charming.

The ride hasn't lost its charm, at least going by the long lineups the last few times I've taken it. Truth be told it's actually one of my favorite things to do at the grounds, the it ultimate to check out the skyline and people watch at the same time.

Why not have the gondola start beside the new arena, go down stampede trail, turn right and follow the BMO, then hang a left and go past the new hotel and Big 4 and end by the grandstand building. Or just build a permanent Ferris wheel as mentioned above.
Sounds like you want a monorail instead of a gondola!
