Stepping down to join Guthrie and his party?
Horner stepping down too. I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised that moderate, serious political representatives are stepping out based on what the UCP has turned into.

Oh oh. To very loosely paraphrase an old saying, to lose one MLA is unfortunate, to lose two looks like carelessness.Matt Jones is also stepping down.
The last time there was a mass exodus like this was in the early 90s when the federal PC party were wiped out by the Liberals.
Unlikely, but I wish. Most likely leaving the GoA altogether.Stepping down to join Guthrie and his party?
Oh they'll be back working for the UCP in some way if they get re-elected. They'll be put on some board or in charge of some government agency that will help the UCP carve up even more of this province for their donors and friendsUnlikely, but I wish. Most likely leaving the GoA altogether.
It is unlikely that they get re-elected, since neither of them are running.Oh they'll be back working for the UCP in some way if they get re-elected. I think his reference was to the UCP getting re-elected, not to the two ministers who have announced they're not running. It is unlikely that they get re-elected, since neither of them are running.
My bad, recovering from a lobotomy. They took the top half.I think his reference was to the UCP getting re-elected, not to the two ministers who have announced they're not running.
I meant if the UCP gets re-elected. They'll both get nice cushy appointmentsIt is unlikely that they get re-elected, since neither of them are running.
