They've already sold our emails to the Russians for a bag of magic beans.....so anything to make a buck to finance her Central Albertan Flat-Earthers projects, Red Deer Hospital, Sundre Museum, all really useful stuff

More F**kin mandate letters, these poor health care workers, every day LaGrange is rolling out more different procedures and policies as she does the bidding of her insane boss, ala Noem, Bondi et al for Big Daddy Trump - who now is apparently in love with Meloni of Italy. How the heck do these "mandates" make every better?

Well Loyal She Remains was previously taken by another province and that doesn't describe the current Alberta government anyways.
Frankly I would have preferred to keep Wild Rose Country, rather than something that seems to be more political posturing.

Our teachers are on strike and education at all levels is under siege by those responsible for funding and delivering it.
Our health care system is a disaster and continues to be broken - and broken apart - by those responsible for funding and delivering it.
Our relationship with Ottawa and with the rest of the country continues to be fractured by those responsible for funding and delivering it.
And what do we get? A survey on what Alberta’s automobile license plates should look like as those in charge have decided to change the motto on them from Wild Rose Country to Strong and Free. As if that’s what’s been burning in our minds as an issue to spend time and money on.
Who is it that dreams up this sh!t?

The UCP often seems good with creating or coming up with distractions, but this license plate one now sort of seems to me like Nero fiddling while Rome burns.
There are some important problems to deal with right now and Smith's attention should be very focused on that, not going off on tangents like this.

License Plate 4 (standard white with red) got my vote, in no small part because it's the closest to the current plates (excepting those Oilers/Flames/Veteran plates).
Trying to put photographs on license plates while keeping both the plate number and the photograph legible is an exercise in futility.

Also while I love the mountains, they are not unique to Alberta, BC actually has a lot more and there is much more to Alberta than just that the parts of southern Alberta those pictures represents.

Hay field with the mountain backdrop is nice (aside from the red on white, but I still voted for the hay field)

This was my vote as well. I'm just going to hold on to my current plate until they make new designs in 2050, but if I had to pick one I feel that the haybales is the most accurate representation of the province.
Nunavut still blows all other Canadian plates out of the water.
