Maria Luisa Dominguez joins VIA HFR – VIA TGF as Chief Project Management Officer​

MONTRÉAL, February 17, 2025 - VIA HFR – VIA TGF today announced the appointment of Maria Luisa Dominguez to the role of Chief Project Management Officer, effective February 17, 2025.
With more than 25 years of rail industry experience, Ms. Dominguez joins VIA-HFR from Administrador de Infraestructuras Ferroviarias (ADIF) where she was instrumental in the design and planning of Spain’s high-speed train network, a model recognized worldwide for its reliability and innovative approach. Most recently she served as Chair, ADIF prior to which she held a number of executive roles that oversaw infrastructure and architectural design, corporate strategy and functional network planning. She also acted as President of the European Railway Infrastructure Association.
Ms. Dominguez’s breadth of experience builds on the strength of the VIA-HFR team that will redefine rail travel in Canada and deliver on the mission to build a rapid train that connects people and communities across Quebec and Ontario.
