Driving along a good portion of the west alignment this morning, I can't help but feel that this project is ahead of schedule. I'm not a construction guy, so I'm not basing this on any actual expertise. But man I tell you, it sure seems like a lot of the heavy lifting has already been done. Doesn't make sense to me how this takes another 3 years, but there probably are lots of good reason why it will...things that are beyond my comprehension. One thing that would make sense to me is that if they are actually ahead of schedule, I get why they don't say they are ahead of schedule. There's still room for surprises and it's good to give yourself some wiggle room. In any case, definitely impressed with the progress that I can see with my untrained eyes.

Agreed. Drove down 104th yesterday afternoon and there maybe 40-50 workers all there at once, making major progress.

Still 0 stations anywhere close to complete. Those will be 2 years probably. Lots of rail not laid…I’d imagine more than half the line still needs concrete/rails (most of 156st/104 is still only a trench). Some huge stretches of road likely won’t finish their 2nd halves till next summer (87ave/104ave). Nothing on 102ave is started. Lots of testing in 2028.

It’d be amazing if they finished in 2 years. But 3 years still feels realistic with their current pace. Grateful they accelerated the intersections this summer though and got most completed.
