I took a look at the two piers for the elevated guideway at 178 Street. The piers are 50 m apart, longer than the average 35-40 meter distance between the other piers. Will the 178 Street crossing be any different?

Would love something like this for the Valley Line in the future. It seems like the Valley Line, the REM has underperformed to average weekday ridership so we're not alone there.

After riding the R.E.M. myself, I do believe that this is the perfect kind of metro system for NA cities. 100km/h top speed, 2.5-5 min frequency on the main trunks, smaller trains and stations, and reutilization of existing rail infrastructure. I love the Valley Line for what it is, but damn it would've been nice to have something like the R.E.M. here even if it took longer to build out...
