What a difference it would make if instead of the tall frosted glass on that building we could've had flowerbeds ;(

Streetscape looks great tho. One thing no one can complain about in the VL LRT in general is the streetscaping.
Valley Line streetscaping is probably the best in the country for any street-running LRT. I'll fight any Ontarian that says otherwise
 
The challenge with 102 Avenue is the barren streetscape along City Centre Mall. I’m not sure that trees or flowers would work because of the lack of sunlight.
Creative light sculptures would have gone a long way. But ultimately it's up to the property owners to make something of their front door. There is nothing inherently wrong with the streetscape.
 
I imagine that 107 Street will be finished first (e.g., railway tracks) before going ahead with 102 Avenue. I’m guessing that the Warehouse District Park construction will be the first priority, along with maintaining emergency vehicle access.
