it is surprising to me that little to no visible work has been done on 102nd ave west of RHW, while other parts of the line might actually see tracks getting laid this year. I don't sequence construction projects though so, maybe there's a reason for that idk 🤷‍♂️
They just wrapped up a ton of utility work on 102 ave between 103 and 105 st for the LRT. It's actually been fairly commendable construction sequencing, as @The_Cat mentioned likely to accommodate keeping 104 open as long as possible.

My guess is that they could be working around 105/106 Street in conjunction with the Warehouse Park, including the station.

Looks like more TOD could soon be on the way along the Valley Line SE.

One of the above applications is from Green Space Alliance. (@Marcolangzi can you share any details yet?)

Drove down the entire west line from 9-10pm on a Friday night (last night). Generally lots of progress going on, west of WEM still needs the most work, besides 102Ave downtown. At 10pm there were still a considerable amount of workers on the Henday bridge and within the Lewis Farms transit centre.

Stony Plain Rd & 146 ST looking west.

Pretty wide sidewalks. There definitely wasn't enough room for a bike lane or proper MUP, but these sidewalks appear to be wide enough to be used as a shared path.
Overall, looking good, too bad it'll be a few years before it sees service, and yes, agree that we are looking at a shared pathway, in fact isn't that the new branding vs bike path?

How we feeling about them being done all elevated sections by EOY? That was their goal I know. Is the pacing going to make that possible with what’s left west of WEM?
Im not sure how long it’ll take them to move the gantry back west, or how long it’ll take to jump over the girders at WEM station. If they can erect segments until December it’s possible.
