All these changes have to help that parcel improve. Or at least that's what the "eyes on the street" theory tells us should happen.

Great news about the UofC. Hopefully the City finds a way to finally purchase the part of Centennial Gardens where the grass and basketball court is. With all those students headed to the area, it would be a shame to lose a good chunk of activity and green space to another development

I'm pretty sure that the City already owns the grass & basketball court portion of Centennial Gardens. It's a City Parks property.

If there was a land swap that happened to officially make the land Calgary Parks that's good news! I wasn't aware that had happened. Last I knew was that the City had a signed a lease deal for the land in order to install the basketball court but the land was still zoned for a high rise development and remained the property of the owner.

Yes, the plan is to bring all SAPL students under the same roof in the Nexen tower rather than the current arrangement which is a split between Professional Faculties on campus and the CBDL building (old central library).

I think 1,200 students is the eventual size of SAPL. The plan is to expand undergraduate placements under BDCI to 200 students for each year cohort (4 year program).
