I may be new to this, but has the hotel component of this property been canned and is now being converted to non-hotel?
 
i believe the addition is being maintained as a very exclusive boutique hotel after being completely refurbished while the owners are converting the original building back to office for their own use.

I think you're right unless there has been a change since this project was announced in June 2023.

"The 26 boutique hotel rooms in the south portion will be renovated and updated with the help of Frank Architecture to once again be operated as the Union Bank Inn."

 
Glad to see it activated and someone using the space but a little sad we won’t have our boutique hotel back. Fond memories of staying there.

Interesting that the repurposing for office space, is closer to the original use. Sometimes things come almost full circle.

It is a great character building, but not the only space around. There are several other older buildings and sites downtown that could also make a nice boutique hotel.

So perhaps now attention will turn to doing something with them.
