Sorry, they're just different systems. Hangzhou above and Harbin below. Elevators are functionally the same. What's the difference between a wheelchair elevator (deep yellow) and a regular elevator (emerald)?

New Yorks new R211's do this as well. If New York can figure it out then there is no excuse for us beyond laziness, incompetence, and a continued culture that rewards mediocrity.View attachment 661645

I'll try google maps tonight for TTC but Gaode/A Map for China would give recommendations on car, platform exit, and station exit for trips, transferring or otherwise.
You’re saying about this organization that doesn’t have any technical expertise to implement this?New Yorks new R211's do this as well. If New York can figure it out then there is no excuse for us beyond laziness, incompetence, and a continued culture that rewards mediocrity.

Did try this last night and it broadly works but isn't definitive enough for me - i'd prefer car numbers instead of broad Front/Rear. You know what would make it easier to know what car we're boarding? Platform doors!Google Maps Boarding locations for faster transfers and exits on Line 1 and 2, you won't always get a recommendation.

The TTC is planning on relocating the 26 to Rosedale station. This means St. George will have no bus service left. I wanted to photograph this cute little bus bay just in case the area gets redeveloped. It's hard to tell from streetview but I don't think the second bay has a stairwell and even if it did it certainly doesn't have an elevator. If it's just accessible from a walkway I suppose they could swap the 26 to the 2nd bay and put the Spadina traffic through primary bay to cut down on the walkway traffic. Even then the primary bay is undersized as @johntauren notes and since it's just a week it's easier to make no changes to the station and let riders just figure it out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Woah, I had suggested that exact change to the 26 in their survey.. very cool! The TTC is planning on relocating the 26 to Rosedale station. This means St. George will have no bus service left. I wanted to photograph this cute little bus bay just in case the area gets redeveloped.

Yes, we just walked by huge line of 10 or 12 504 and 501 near Jarvis, all going west. Many were signed as Short Turn Church. So someone seems to be trying to manage the situation.Who could have forseen this?
Also, I can see out my window right now a very long line of westbound streetcars stopped on Queen.
Eastbound streetcars seem to be moving though. No idea what's happening.
The cars purchased for service are still in Pennsylvania awaiting modification work. Not expected to enter service until sometime next year.
