A new TTC CEO could come “pretty soon,” according to the transit agency’s interim executive, and it may be a familiar face.
Interim TTC CEO Greg Percy said he’s applying to stick around as head of Canada’s largest public transit system, and that a decision from the TTC board on his replacement, or a contract extension, should come soon.
“The process is unfolding and I’m not going to tell you what the outcome is because I don’t know,” Percy said at a press conference Thursday.

With genuine respect for Greg, who is a step up from his predecessor, I just don't see him as the right fit.

It would be nice to know who else other than Adam G. threw their hat in....

I submitted a couple of names for consideration, but don't know if either was interested, or any offer extended, and as they have existing employers, I suppose I shall remain quiet on that point.

Adam G didn’t make the final 4

Was it mentioned at what date the new CEO will be announced?

And familiar face, like a former TTC employee?

Collie Greenwood current with MARTA and former TTC employee that moved up the ranks.

Unfortunately I can't access the paywall.

Its my understanding that Collie did not put his name forward.

It was mentioned that the interim CEO wasn't suppose to get the permanent position. But with anything, rules are bent. But I do remember them stating that as condition for the Interim CEO.
Yeah, there was some discussion of this above. At the time of the appointment it was clearly reported that he was not permitted to apply for the permanent job, but at some point, that disappeared and everyone just seemed to accept that he was applying and being considered. Without anybody from the Board coming out and transparently saying that they'd changed the rules to let him.

From what it looks like from the drawings the existing bus bays are being removed however the section that has the washrooms is going to remain as a bridge over the new bus loop and will have a few elevators in it. https://strasmanarch.com/project/ttc-warden-station/

UPDATE

They are tearing down the upper portion with the bobcats.

It looks like they are tearing down the bus bays in sections with a separate team working on the concourse portion directly.

The portion where the shops were seems to be demolished separate from the other sections of warden station

yeah I was looking at the site I had linked before and I think I might have misinterpreted something from it. It look like the part of the exiting are from bay 1 and 2 towards the ret of the station is staying as it holds the current entrance and will have the outside elevator for the temporary bus terminal and the passenger drop off. Everything towards the street will be a new purpose built facility. Something to keep in mind the elevators are due to open sometime this year but the project isn't due to be complete until next year.

The buses should be permanent. So we can have a parallel bus next to any or all underground electric railways for accessibility, whenever a station's elevator is out-of-service due to maintenance, vandalism, or mischief.

Sure Walter.

Let me know when you have the funding ready.
