Rather overdue.............

We knew Rick was on his way out last year...........the inevitable and very necessary was only delayed, not cancelled.

I'm very pleased to see this departure, of course now comes the matter of his replacement, but more than that, of many of those Rick hired as senior management.

This needs to be more than rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.

Also, we know that releases as seen above are more often than not with filled with platitudes and meaningless verbiage...........

But some of what's above is just such a ....... LOL

A bit of poking around.......... while nothing is settled, yet, I'm given to understand there maybe an 'interim CEO' before a the new permanent person arrives.

I mean, something to remember is that Leary was initially the interim CEO when Byford left…

Leary took on the interim job on the basis (pretense) of having been Byford's Deputy CEO.

That job is currently filled by Bruce Macgregor who landed the job last Sept, so about 9 months ago.......he came to the TTC from.....wait for it........... York Region, where he was CAO for 16 years.

He was CAO when Leary was hired to run YRT........

Interesting. Colle just got hired as a senior TTC exec a few weeks ago.

To elaborate, he hasn't actually started yet............he was hired to be the Chief Strategy and Customer Officer effective July 15, 2024.

It’s going to be Josh Colle. Just watch. Going from bad to meh.

More poking and I've got two more keen observers also placing bets on Josh............... hmmmm. Would not be my first choice.

Does Josh Colle have anything on his resume that leads to being the CEO of an organization of 17,000 employees?

I would argue 'no'.

But as to his CV:

Past Chair TTC, and City Councillor

Former Sr. VP at Ernst & Young - Government and Public Sector practice where he did act as a Transit Consultant

Josh also worked for Pearson Airport (GTAA) as Government & Corporate Strategy Officer

I mean its not like were going to get an actual ttc rider on the board

First, we're talking about filling the CEO's job, not a Board position.

Second, Councillor Saxe who is on the TTC Board is a regular rider, in addition to being a cyclist.
