It's starting to sound like the orange line in Boston. One of those restricted speed zones, combined with two missed bus runs. made me spend $100 on a cab, after I missed a connection to a Go train,

The Sheppard Yonge to Bayview is the dumbest one. Does that line not support bidirectional running? Getting on a bus for one stop?
My recollection is that the Spadina Extension was the first line built with provision for isolating power and signals to one side. It would be interesting to know if it was ever considered for Sheppard and if so how much money was “saved” by “value-engineering” it outThe Sheppard Yonge to Bayview is the dumbest one. In hindsight it would make sense to have that capability. My recollection is that the Spadina Extension was the first line built with provision for isolating power and signals to one side. Most likely? The scope of the work is such that they can't get it done even with evening and weekend closures.Which begs the question what's the point of all of these weekend and early night closures if they aren't fixing anything? Why inconvenience people when no progress is being made?
Brutal. Most likely? The scope of the work is such that they can't get it done even with evening and weekend closures.
It does. One of the previous outage had the line ran as single track service. The Sheppard Yonge to Bayview is the dumbest one. Does that line not support bidirectional running? Getting on a bus for one stop?
At least the TTC is telling people not pretending 'everything's OK, nothing to see here"And they just finished early shut downs on the University side.
The fun thing about fixing problems and being more thorough inspecting is that you find more things to fixView attachment 665009
What the hell have they been doing with all the late night and weekend closures when we are getting more slow zones day by day?
