Scope creep is a thing.
Thats literally how going to 7 instead of stopping at York U was framedRight now, that would not be wise. However, back then, tacking on one more station to a line and likely never needing another extension again would have been money well spent.
Would it be beneficial to extend Line 1 to Vaughan Mills/Wonderland?

If we did extensions so that the line would not need to be extended for decades, if ever, then it is not scope creep. It is future proofing.Thats literally how going to 7 instead of stopping at York U was framed
I like the Warren Park station; it's a good place for a future Jane line and a St. Clair extension to converge.View attachment 737849
Midtown line proposal?
Opportunity cost is also a major issue that I alluded to in my previous post. Why must we keep rehashing this?If we did extensions so that the line would not need to be extended for decades, if ever, then it is not scope creep. It is future proofing.
As I see it, there are lots of excuses we all make for why transit is so horrible. Not building enough in one contract is one of them. That is a loss of opportunity.Opportunity cost is also a major issue that I alluded to in my previous post. Why must we keep rehashing this?
