Duffs was alright but i also found them to be kinda bland. I would rather have flavour than heat. I also like them breaded and nice and saucy. I'll have to give gretzkys a try. They sound like its right up my alley.

Another good place i have been to is up in markham at 16th and woodbine. They have 85 flavours of wings which is great for people who like a little change once and a while.

Duffs is more of the vinegary buffalo wing flavour...if you like the typical buffalo wings, I think Duffs is the best option. One problem I have with Duffs is that they're not very consistent...the wings are sometimes really saucy and sometimes not, and they don't keep to their heat levels as rigorously as they should. Just minor quibbles though...they're always great, just sometimes greater than other times.

On another note, I'm getting tired of waitresses 'warning' me about the blinding heat of the wings at their particular establishment, only to find that they're not hot at all. I recognize that everybody has different tastes, but it's still annoying.

Correction...They have 8 heat levels: Mild, Mild-Medium, Medium, Medium-Hot, Hot, Super Hot, Death, and Armageddon. I had one Armageddon wing and I was dying...although according to their 'top eaters' board some guy ate 52 in one sitting. That's sort of gross.

I could only have one as well, and Im used to eating hot food. They're not hot right away...but they have this annoying kind of heat that sticks with you. It's almost more annoying than anything!

Yeah no kidding...especially when I absentmindedly scratched the corner of my eye when I was eating that one wing...let me tell you, if you're planning to have a painful evening, that would be the way to do it. My friends thought it was pretty funny...I was less amused.
