Disagree. It's a good, simple, background building. There should be hundreds more of these across the City (in all different colours!).

The podium just doesn't look very good at this point. Once again with inset balconies low to the ground..... something that almost never works.

Too early for the retail expression, and the tower cladding isn't far enough along either for a concrete take.

The cladding on the podium is also an issue. Precast brick panels almost never work. Shim Sutcliffe showed one way to make it, and there are others.......but few builders/architects know or care.

It's not that this is terrible, and you're quite right that a lot of buildings are just background, not everything needs to be a masterpiece.

But that's not the same as saying we need a few dozen of this............
