That certainly looks like the project going ahead......🧐

Update on Draper Street:

Nice pavers for the sidewalk, and there is narrowing of the street with bumpouts at the intersection with Wellington and across from the Cats Parkette (and maybe at Front as well, but I didn't walk by there).

The kitty has also been cleaned of the paint:

Toronto Life has the full lowdown on the Food Hall expansion.

Bear Steak Sandwiches and Chen Chen Hot Chicken are noted above.

Additionally:

Kao Kany - Thai street food

Cheezed - Grilled Cheese concept

Carvery - New Zealand Roast Meats / Sandiwches

Panda Pancakes - mini pancakes with assorted toppings

Taline - Armenian food

Lily - healthy bowls of something or other........

And a pot place.

Meant to post these when I was there last week.
I had the roast dinner from Carvery - 2 pieces of chicken thighs, potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, peas carrots and gravy for $15 after tax. Pretty cheap as far as Wellington market goes.

I got a roast pork sandwich at the Carvery the other day, and it was really bad. Totally dried out pork and not nearly enough gravy/aioli to make up for it. It had some decent flavour, but with that level of dryness, was hard to choke down. Maybe their roast beef is better.

Did you tell them or ask them for another portions? With new establishments they're still trying to figure out. So maybe the staff didn't know cause they missed or forgot something from the manual. The extra gravy is easily fixed with training, dry pork maybe with the new cook there

I didn't go back. I chalked it up to "lessons learned". They should be tasting the food before sending it out like that. I might try it out again sometime, though there's a lot of other places at the Well that I still have to try first. The Korean place there is really good, BTW.
