None of the permits have yet been applied for, including demolition for those buildings on Yonge.

Don't know why you would bother vacating rent paying businesses when you're not likely to be ready to go in September.....

Most buildings on this block [not 1909 Yonge, the bakery on the corner] have Demolition Permit applications submitted dated July 2nd. These are posted on the outside of the buildings.

Always great to see more density beside a subway station.
The development will also get rid of a big parking lot so will kill 2 birds with one stone here.


Regarding the video, Toronto has lot of empty storefronts so it should be easy for the displaces business to find a new location at similar rents.
