Thursday afternoon. I think these look pretty smart, particularly the tower portions.

One side effect of these towers being the only structures of height in this part of the downtown (as of yet) is that they're incredibly visible. As such, here's a whole slew of photos taken yesterday from various vantage points with these towers peaking into view:

They're especially prominent from James North, and will become even more so when the closer third tower is built:

Love the last two pics, in some aspects don't even look real. Would it really have been that bad to make these another 10. Looking at TEK Tower in Kitchener, great height!

Yep. Apparently.

But I think there will be much more to come when the local market improves. These are doing a wonderful job "extending" the downtown skyline northward.
It might take a very long time for the local market to improve to that point

Agreed for the Siberian Winter of the current condo market , don't think we will see much in new tower development in downtown (beyond the few stragglers we have going up now). But when it does turn, what is there maybe a count of six towers that will have all planning permissions in place all clustered around the Design District. Plus whatever IN8 gets going for the former Eaton Centre.(Wouldn't that be better if Lamb just bought them out).
