Maybe it's a two story building that's 6 stories high. Not sure what a hospital wing will do with two stacked gymnasiums, but hey...anything goes these days. 😼

SMH has confirmed it will (at least initially) be TWO floors and look like:

"The new Shuter rebuild will initially be two storeys, but it will have structural and service provisions in place to support an additional 15 storeys, which would match the height of the adjacent 17-storey Cardinal Carter wing."

MODS. You probably need to adjust the number of floors from 6 to 2. (I think there may be 4 below grade but .....

The new white crane is being used for something on the roof of the completed hospital. I think maybe HVAC related? Not sure.

It's to service smaller structure going in behind the old Bond St brick buildings. Tricky design, had to keep the crane jib below the SMH flight path, way from hospital tower, and away from the other crane.

Those exposed pipes on the wall though, goodness...some dystopic engineering there...

Don't worry. Sooner or later they will be hidden when St Mikes finds some $$$ and the Emerg Building goes higher.
Er...so the funding incentive will be the more $$$ they get to add stories the more they can hide that eyesore from public view? I mean they could always do something about those pipes so that they aren't so seen instead... >.<
