It's to service smaller structure going in behind the old Bond St brick buildings. Tricky design, had to keep the crane jib below the SMH flight path, way from hospital tower, and away from the other crane.The new white crane is being used for something on the roof of the completed hospital. I think maybe HVAC related? Not sure.
Don't worry. Sooner or later they will be hidden when St Mikes finds some $$$ and the Emerg Building goes higher.Those exposed pipes on the wall though, goodness...some dystopic engineering there...
Er...so the funding incentive will be the more $$$ they get to add stories the more they can hide that eyesore from public view?
