Wouldn't building a new stadium on what is currently surface parking at Exhibition make more sense, as not only is it effectively empty land but it's also tied-in with GO and OL and would pair with the other sports properties at BMO? If they're going to create a mixed-use community with all of the sports in one spot that would be the logical place to do so, at least more-so than East Harbour.

I do agree, but I guess I stayed clear of that since I'm hearing stories that Toronto FC ticket holders can't even give there seats away because that area is such a nightmare right now to get in and out of. Maybe once the transit is done it should be easier so maybe you're right.

I realize this doesn't effect the fan experience, but wasn't there supposed to be a 3rd phase of the reno? Like new locker room and all these other things for the players?

When I drove by today, I noticed they had simply painted the column and not clad it as proposed in the renderings posted. Not sure I liked the renderings all that much so maybe for the better.
