Huh? The entire ground floor is retail along Queens Quay.

Hey now. We're due for a Starbucks down this way! Plenty of Timmy's in the hood at GB, on Jarvis and on Freeland at One Yonge.

But in all seriousness....there's plenty of vacant retail down this way (for $6.5 Million you can buy all of Aqualuna's). Aqualina is finally entirely leased...except Scotiabank is closing in October. I'm not concerned with the amount of retail in this - it's about right I would say.

I will say...I was a real hater on the initial renderings. I think they've added enough pizzaz to the finishes that it's sort of growing on me. I know...I'm disgusted with myself too.

The Block 1C design came to mind while watching this podcast. I'm set the link to start at the point where she talks about this type of architecture. It goes from the 22 minute mark to about 26 minutes. I wonder if what she is saying is what is happening with Block 1C...

More work going on along Small Street. They have expanded the fences and are tearing up the ground and doing more trenchwork closer to Lakeshore Blvd. The fence perimeter is eating up a lot of the parking now. New updated city notices as well added to the fencing.
