Topping out for the one is not the 300m mark, the One will win that part of the race without a doubt.

The One tops out at 308m, and it is basically the whole crown, with the pendulum... If the mechanical floor is any indication, that crown will take a while. We will see, but the speed that SkyTower is going feels like they are racing the One.

I think we can safely say when The One is ready to be occupied it will no longer be the tallest.

My bet is that this will only allow the one to hold the title of tallest building for a month maximum we are already nearly at 70 floors and growing fast by this summer this building will be a super tall

Could this have been chopped to 95 floors? The Skytower websites are saying it's 95 storeys now. The Sky Villa suites are 90-94, then it looks like one more floor, presumably a PH on 95.

I don’t think so. The website was never updated since they increased the height a few years ago.

Using the internet wayback machine, it has listed 95 storeys on the site for the last year at least.

But it was just a month or two ago that we learned of the application for the extra storey and height (to 106 and 351 m), so I would tend to ignore this 95-storey rumour.

It was in December 2023 that it went from 95 to 105, though.

In just a year, this absolute beast has gone from a lowly little tree stump to being over halfway done being full grown (my tree analogy is a bit off) either way I love this building
