This was the previous iteration - showing the PATH with its own elevator as well

Just a note to say that anyone wanting to discuss the demolition of the Toronto Star building (application to demolish was received by the City last week) should do that in the thread for the south block here. Thanks!

I grew up in Le Méridien hotels, and I'm thrilled to see the brand come back to Canada in style with a property like this; hopefully the interiors and offerings are beautiful. Late 2025 might be a smidge optimistic given the building's progress so far, but fingers crossed.

Looking forward to this one; will hunt for renderings/info and share accordingly.

Here are a few photos I took of Pinnacle One Yonge this afternoon, starting from outside Union Station:

At a height of 1,134+ feet, Sky Tower will be at least 34 feet higher than the spire of Wilshire Grand Center, the tallest building on the West Coast:

Sky Tower will also be 120+ feet higher than The One, and among North American cities, only New York and Chicago have completed skyscrapers taller than Sky Tower.

Very interested in the race between "Pinnacle One Yonge" and the "One" for Canada's first super tall. Have either of them surpassed the 300M mark as of yet?, and who is ahead?

Nope. And The One will likely reach that mark first. It won't be the tallest though at the end of the day.

Phase 3 (the 92-storey supertall in pre-construction on the north parcel) has had a SPA resubmission with some tweaks.

Height fanboys will rejoice due to a 90 centimetre increase from 306.8m to a new height of 307.7m. With a grade of 76.8m above-sea-level, the top of the parapet is now proposed at 384.5 above-sea-level, note that we do not consider non-static elements like the building maintenance unit in building height.

Additional changes include 11 more affordable rental units and 28 more vehicular parking spaces as well as a minor GFA redistribution & unit mix redistribution.
