If I understand right they are removing the old dock wall and starting to put in the utilities like drains for the extended QQE that will eventually meet the extended Parliament at 90 degrees (or thereabouts) and go further east to Cherry.

Walked by yesterday. New promenade looks great. Now we need to get construction started on that pedestrian bridge ASAP so people can easily continue to the park across the water. Otherwise it'll be a long detour surrounded by construction for the next decade...
