trying to figure out why a cyclist would have to dismount there. I didn't see anything that would require it. It just didn't make any sense.
TPS has got to have an easy cyclist harassment/ticketing hub in the east end, just like their current operation in High Park🙃

The beauty of living in Toronto is imagining how great it could be if we could finish all these massive projects. Ontario line, east bayfront and LRT, ookwemin neighborhood, Eglinton LRT (this one is a dream I know)

I can't remember who said it, but "Toronto will be incredible once it's finished."

Some enforcement is better than none at all, which is how it currently stands on Ookwemin Minising.

I'm also accutely aware of cyclist and dog owner behaviour in High Park. If it isn't a cyclist going at top speed along the trails, it's a dog owner with an aggressive offleash dog lashing out at walkers and cyclists alike.

FYI: High Park was the location where I was last "clipped" by a cyclist, who then got angry at me because I talk with my hands and he hit my forearm. (Note: The trail was at least 10ft wide, there was no excuse for him to pass that close).

So, yah. High Park is not a great example. It is infamous for bad cyclist and bad dog owner behaviour.

I got a chance to run the trails this morning, and this is place is truly remarkable. It is instantly one of the most spectacular outdoor spaces in the city. They even have some new fancy garbage and recycle cans, which I know folks on here will appreciate. To anyone involved, congratulations, this is a real achievment. Such a great space.
