...I suppose it's mildly better that they didn't announce it with the Caps Lock stuck on. >.<I must say I think that making 'official announcements' on private services like Facebook, X or, god forbid, TruthSocial is not a good trend.
They probably wouldn’t rush TOC construction by increasing risk of composite subway construction. I wouldn’t expect a start until station construction is at 100%.Can or would they start building on any part of this site after the tunneling has gone through?
Despite what was said above this REALLY does not look like some kind of temporary building - look at all that rebar and the very stout concrete column!...it certainly has a weird purpose. Not sure it's necessary outside of being an extra shed, IMO.
It precludes any later development here so it’s certainly temporary in that sense.Despite what was said above this REALLY does not look like some kind of temporary building - look at all that rebar and the very stout concrete column!
Agreed, which really makes it rather odd. EDIT. I have asked Metrolonx what it is, if I hear I will post, of course. It precludes any later development here so it’s certainly temporary in that sense.
I asked and it IS temporary. Seems bizarre to me as it is VERY well built but ...I took another picture from a different angle this morning. Luckily there was a worker up against that wall so you can get an idea of the size of it. It's pretty damn big and it's easily 2 story's tall (at the moment) but has rebar sticking out at the top by a few feet.
