That is back at Sammon Ave, not in this pit. There is a cross-over switch at the south end which is also being excavated by cut & cover; that makes for a very long pit.

...you mean you flipped him the bird?At this point the obligatory Metrolinx security guard began to approach me but I'm wise to their shenanigans and immediately pretended to be an architect and projected a vibe of weary hostility and the guard immediately clued in and just stood quietly by his car until I left.
That's what I do, but I make sure to wear a high-visibility vest and a helmet, they usually leave me aloneAt this point the obligatory Metrolinx security guard began to approach me but I'm wise to their shenanigans and immediately pretended to be an architect and projected a vibe of weary hostility and the guard immediately clued in and just stood quietly by his car until I left.
It is interesting to note that while taking pics of other sites within this project you and others here have not ran into the same opposition or demands. As well, as far as anyone who knows here there hasn't been any indications of legal strike downs issued regarding this so far. Nor where there any indication of police or threat of police intervention issued in these matters. As well as, they have yet to give any reasonable explanations of why they are demanding this outside the assertion made without evidence and/or proper authority. I mean, I expect this sorta stuff State side where there is no real rule of law currently, but here..?Today was the fourth time I've been hassled for taking photos at a Metrolinx site and Metrolinx is the only organization that has hassled me for taking photos. I guess that's why they've been able to keep such a tight lid on the Eglinton LRT problems; secrecy is built into the org's DNA.
Staff told me that I wasn't allowed to take pictures and post them to social media, etc. I argued that I was on public property and could take whatever photos I wanted. They said that I couldn't and why am I even taking them. I said that it's a piece of the city that's changing and that's interesting and photos are fun. He repeated that I couldn't take them. I took another photo. He kept politely arguing and I never badger frontline workers because they do not set policy and are just trying to make rent, so I told him to tell his boss that his training is lacking and he's got to get it together on the photo issue.
But could Metrolinx be any worse?
