Well since they didn't have all the details, I guess all we can hope for is that this is just an unsubstantiated rumour like the cracked concrete slab on Line 5.
On the other hand, Line 5 is so severely delayed that it doesn't really matter what the cause is anymore; it might as well be a cracked concrete slab with how long it's taking.

I'm guessing something substantiated will come out soon, but until then I will remain optimistic that this line opens early, like the Canada Line did (that's the only RT project in recent Canadian history that I know opened early).

I know that even before hearing Northern Light's rumours, that the possibility of this opening on time was already non-existent. It's already behind in schedule with just the early phase work alone. The only question now is how long of a delay we should expect.

Add in some financial compensation for leads and I am sure the floodgates will open lol

@Northern Light - I will keep a lookout for the next new Lambo coming off the lot ;)
