My bad if they weren't. I know that opening fail is the reason they've delayed the crosstown's so much.

With full architectural plans out for Ex station, I would bet money on it being the final design.

MX wasn't involved, but a lot of the same players are in the Crosslinx consortium as RTG that built the O-Train

"Stepping up" the voltage through transformers for long distance transmission if I remember correctly. Not sure about the scientific terms for it.
