While the exoskeleton is obviously quite unique to The One, the bronze window sections look like a horizontal take on 2 Bloor W's motif. It is quite possible this similarity has been noted before, but at nearly 1,000 pages there's been a lot said about this building.

I'm normally very cold on metal cladding because I think it can look like a very cheap way to make something look finished. But I cannot stop staring at the cladding on this project - something about it is just so satisfying.

The two other mildstones to watch for after surpassing Mr. Benito's horizon line of sight is, 1) surpassing 2 Bloor West and then 2) One Bloor East...
Perhaps we'll cross the first milestone by the end of the summer and the second by third quarter of 2024. What do you think?

With so many great updates daily, I don’t think my contribution from the same angles would measure up, but I just want to share this shot I took today with partial view of The One juxtaposed against the twisting public art in front of One Bloor East. I think the shiny metallic structure complements The One’s coppery diagonals very well, whether it was intentional or otherwise.
